In Stacker, it is possible to limit how users can interact with your data using Permissions.
Permissions are disabled by default. This means that users will be able to see all records, update them and create new records for all tables by default. You can enable permissions on a table by table basis to limit what users can do.
How to enable permissions
To turn on permissions for a given table, navigate to its Permissions settings in your App Settings.
You will need to enable permissions separately on each table that you wish to restrict access to.
When permissions are enabled, Stacker creates a default permission rule which you can open up to edit by clicking on the pencil icon. You can then configure your permission rule to set how users can interact with records from this table.
