Stacker allows you to share your apps confidently with colleagues, other teams within your organisation, as well as with external partners and customers.
You can do this by adding users to your apps and then using Stacker's Permissions and User Roles to control how different users can see and edit your data.
App Users- Collaborators and Guest Users
In Stacker there's two distinct types of users that can have access to your apps through your workspace. You can either add users directly to an app as guests or you can add workspace collaborators as users to an app.
Workspace Collaborators:
- Can access all the apps they are granted access to via the app bar
- Can have Roles and Permissions applied to them
- Can create their own apps in the workspace
- Can be made admins on existing apps
- Can login using SSO (Enterprise only)
Guest Users:
- Can access all the apps they are granted access to via the app bar
- Can have Roles and Permissions applied to them
- Can be synced in from a user table in your data source
- Cannot create their own apps
- Cannot be made admins on existing apps
- Cannot login using SSO
